RecInnBBQ :) Game 4 ended with Team Okanagan showing why they are the heavy favorites and have gone undefeated in this tournament! They are a great team! Having seen other great teams including
Crossfire '96 Premier I would say this is one of the best '96 select teams in the Northwest! Of their field players no weakness. Two touch excellence! We have not seen a team that executes their game plan as well as this team. Period! And yet Powell Rivers'
Miss Hollingsworth scored the opening goal for
Team Green with cleaver never stop effort! Did we mention that she has a Victoria connection? Her cousin plays on
Moniques team at Lakehill!!!!
This was a difficult game with temperatures approaching 30+c and yet it was as very intense with lots of intense play! The VIZ came up second best when the final whistle was blown and have to settle with Sundays Bronze medal game and yet they can come away with the pride of having played their biggest game of their seasons! Alynn and Sydney both from Peninsula had a very strong first half! Our keeper Aiyana had her best game, Austyn was great as was Ana, Mailia and Hannah! Oh I'm not mentioning everyone though they deserve it! ! Well done everyone! get some sleep its 8am kick off on Sunday! Again Vancouver #2!
