All 12 players figured prominently in todays action, in the first game Capt. Emma (Gorge) was a work horse and scored two goals (she hit the post early on!). Nanaimos Ana was a defensive wall in the first game! 
The three PSC girls worked hard as did the #9 Lakehiller! But this is not just a regional team, with equal representation from all of Zone 6: players come from all parts of the Island and Powell River! 
In the first game the girls suffered a heart break 2-3 loss . The players now know what they are capable of as they dominated Vancouver#2 in the first half only to give up two goals in the second half. But this team is capable of a come back and that they did! The final result was truly unfortunate as an own goal is never planned! For this team of players the second gamewould mean they had to leave the past behind them and aim to turn things up a notch in order to have any chance of a Sunday playoff game!
The coaching staff walked the players through some tactics and ensured the players were properly hydrated! Then the VIZ started the second game! A few surprises, a few changes and a renewed vigor!
